Ericsson reveals gigabit speed 4G LTE software solution

Ericsson has publicized plans instantaneous to use innovative software to upgrading commercial 4G long-term evolution (LTE) networks across the globe to allow top speeds of up to 1 GB/second.

The Ericsson Networks Software 16B resolution involves 3 component carrier (3CC) combination, merging 60MHz of bandwidth starting three different spectrum bands; 4×4 multiple input multiple output (MIMO), which communicates twice as several data streams to devices; 256 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM), which packages more bits into the range being used; and Ericsson Lean Carrier, which reduces interference produced by excess location signaling on LTE network structures, in turn supplementing the data throughput getting by customers.

According to Ericsson networks, uniting these four software structures provides a 100% improvement of downlink peak data rates paralleled to using only 3CC accumulation.
