Apple indexes automobile domain names, like “hello.car”

Apple Inc has registered domain names related to automobiles, adding to assumption about the company’s plans to improve an automobile. It’s really related technology news.

The iPhone maker recorded the domain names, which contain apple.car, apple.cars and apple.auto in December, according to domain data provider Who.is according to technology news.

MacRumors had first reported the news on Friday, but said the domain names would be related to Apple’s CarPlay, which makes drivers access contacts on their iPhones, make calls or attend to voicemails without having their hands off the steering wheel.

While never flexibly acknowledging plans to figure a car, Apple has been leading in recruiting auto experts from firms such as Ford or Mercedes-Benz.
